SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION, P.E.R.S. Payment for Retirement of Former City Attorney John C. Young

WHEREAS, when an individual has given public service, the entity receiving the services has a small obligation to pay for years of service upon the retirement determination by P.E.R.S.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO;
Section 1. That the amount of Two Thousand Eleven Dollars ($2,011) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.181.5131, City Attorney, P.E.R.S. for the purpose of paying into P.E.R.S. the City's portion toward retirement belonging to former City Attorney John C. Young
Section 2. That Ordinance No. 1-98, passed January 2, 1998 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and approval by the Mayor.
