TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH TERRA SURVEYING CO. TO CREATE MAPS OF EACH COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT AREA BASED ON WRITTEN LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS NOT TO EXCEED $4,500; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, Department of Development Director, Sadicka White, has recommended that we enter into a contract agreement with Terra Surveying Services, Co. to create maps of each community reinvestment area based on written legal descriptions; and
WHEREAS, it is imperative to move forward with this immediately, all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with TERRA SURVEYING SERVICES, CO., 238 Academy Woods Drive, Gahanna, OH 43230, to create maps of each community reinvestment area based on written legal descriptions.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FOUR THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($4,500) has been set aside to Account No. 101.343.5253, Planning, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
