TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT WITH JAMES R. AND KAYANNE M. SHARP, 501 HELMBRIGHT DRIVE, FOR PROPERTY ACQUISITION NEEDED FOR THE TAYLOR ROAD BOOSTER STATION PROJECT; IMPROVEMENT NO. ST 1003.

WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase the capacity of the water supply system to the industrial area, and a booster station will be sited on Taylor Road; and
 
WHEREAS, SR-0003-2014 authorized necessity and intent to appropriate real estate in connection with the Taylor Road booster station; and
 
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
 
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Settlement Agreement with James R. and Kayanne M. Sharp, 501 Helmbright Drive, Gahanna, OH, 43230, for property acquisition for the Taylor Road booster station, Improvement No. ST 1003; Legal Description, Survey Map and Contract of Sale and Purchase attached as EXHIBIT A and made a part herein.
 
Section 2. That funding in the amount of TWENTY TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($22,500) was set aside in the 2015 Appropriations to Account No. 652.351.5596, Water System Capital Improvements/Capital Maintenance, to cover the herein costs.
 
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
