SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Capacity Charges

WHEREAS, whenever there is a new connection to Gahanna's sanitary sewer line, capacity fees must be paid to Gahanna by the property owner, and then Gahanna must pay Columbus' capacity fee; and
WHEREAS, due to more new construction than anticipated additional funds are needed from the funds collected through the capacity fees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of ONE HUNDRED FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($140,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the SSCI Capacity Charges Revenue Fund to Account No. 662.361.5474, Sewer System Capacity Charges, to cover the herein costs.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2008, passed January 2, 2008, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
