WHEREAS, a turn lane into Columbus Academy was built by the City in consideration of an easement for the Academy storm reliever swale; and

 

WHEREAS, said work was funded using storm water funds through ORD-0080-2006; and

 

WHEREAS, Cherry Bottom Road is eligible for permissive tax funding and the City has received the funds from Franklin County; and

 

WHEREAS, the City now wishes to retrieve the storm water funds from the project and use permissive tax money instead;

 

NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO: 

 

Section 1.  That funding in the amount of ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($118,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the County Permissive Fund to Account No. 231.330.5541, Capital Project Streets, County Permissive.

 

Section 2.  That ORD-0001-2006, passed January 2, 2006, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.

 

Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
