TITLE
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS - Capital Improvement Fund for Grant Award
BODY
WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna has been awarded a $20,000 grant to design and install a human sundial at Sunpoint Park; and
WHEREAS, this Refresh Grant was made available to agencies that previously received grants through the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) in partnership with Niagara Bottling; and
WHEREAS, Gahanna qualified due to a previous grant awarded in 2019 for the construction of two basketball courts at Sunpoint Park; and
WHEREAS, the Refresh Grant requires the project to occur at the same site as the initial award.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the Capital Improvement Fund 3250 as follows:
325.06.550.5505 - Capital Improvements: $20,000
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
