TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH MS CONSULTANTS, INC., FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM INVENTORY AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM DATA ENTRY FOR GASB-34 AND FUTURE GIS; TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $22,000.

WHEREAS, letter proposal has been received to assist the City in the development of the Sanitary Sewer System Inventory and Management System; and

 

WHEREAS, this is necessary for GASB-34 and future GIS projects, and the City Engineer has recommended that we proceed;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1.  That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with MS CONSULTANTS, INC., 2221 Schrock Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229, for engineering services for sanitary sewer system inventory and management system data entry, for GASB-34 and future GIS projects, in accordance with City specifications.

 

Section 2.  That funding in the amount of TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($25,000) was set aside in the 2002 Appropriations in Account No. 662.361.5596, Miscellaneous Sewer Improvements, to cover the herein costs.

 

Section 3.  That funding in the amount of TWENTY TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($22,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the SSCI fund to Account No. 662.361.5596, SSCI -GIS, to further cover the herein costs.

 

Section 4.  That ORD-0001-2002, passed January 2, 2002, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.

 

Section 5.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
