TO ADOPT THE COMPREHENSIVE LANDSCAPE PLAN, DATED JANUARY 7, 2015, FOR THE CITY OF GAHANNA, OHIO.

WHEREAS, it is the responsibility of the Landscape Board to study, counsel and develop and/or update, and administer a written plan for the care, preservation, pruning, planting, replanting, removal or disposition of trees and shrubs in parks, along streets and in other public areas with such trees and shrubs being designated street trees or park trees; and
WHEREAS, the Landscape Board, after review, recommended the updated Comprehensive Landscape Plan dated January 7, 2015 to Council for adoption;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby adopts the Comprehensive Landscape Plan, dated January 7, 2015, said plan attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
