TO HONOR AND COMMEND SHANE W. EWALD FOR HIS YEARS OF SERVICE AS THE LAW DIRECTOR & CITY ATTORNEY.

WHEREAS, SHANE W. EWALD has a great love for Gahanna, the city he grew up in and a desire to serve the citizens of Gahanna; and
WHEREAS, SHANE W. EWALD was elected to Gahanna City Council in 2003 and took office January 2, 2004; and
WHEREAS, SHANE W. EWALD served as Chairman of the IT & Service Committee, Finance Committee, Development & Parks, Committee of the Whole, and Records Commission; and
WHEREAS, SHANE W. EWALD served as the Vice President of Council in 2006 and 2010, and the President of Council in 2007; and
WHEREAS, SHANE W. EWALD continued his service to the City of Gahanna as he was elected City Attorney and served two terms, assuming office in 2012, and commencing December 31, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration do hereby honor and commend SHANE W. EWALD for his years of service to the City of Gahanna and its citizens.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately after passage by this Council.
