TO ACCEPT DEED OF EASEMENT IN THE AREA OF 5175 MORSE ROAD, FOR A 0.188 ACRE UTILITY EASEMENT FROM PIERCE PARTNERS LLC; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the City has received a Deed of Easement for utility easement in the area of 5175 Morse Road, for 0.188 acres; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined the value of this easement to be $11,280; and

 

WHEREAS, said deed of easement was recorded by the Franklin County Recorder's office on April 18, 2008; and

 

WHEREAS, it is desirable and necessary to accept this Deed of Easement, all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1.  That this Council hereby accepts this Deed of Easement and appurtenant work thereto for the purpose of utility easement in the area of 5175 Morse Road, for 0.188 acres, from Piece Partners LLC; Deed attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.

 

Section 2.  That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
