TO ADOPT THE THOROUGHFARE PLAN, AUGUST 29, 2001 BY EMH&T, INC., FOR THE CITY OF GAHANNA, OHIO

WHEREAS, Ordinance 21-86 adopted the 1977-78 Master Plan Update; and
WHEREAS, EMH&T, Inc. were contracted to update the Thoroughfare Plan; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commission held Public Hearing on September 26, 2001 on this revised Thoroughfare Plan and recommended to Council the adoption of the Thoroughfare Plan, August 29, 2001, by EMH&T, Inc.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby adopts the Thoroughfare Plan, August 29, 2001 by EMH&T, Inc., attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A and made a part herein, to be a part of the 1977-78 Master Plan Update.
Section 2. That in accordance with the recommendation of EMH&T, Inc., to update the plan every five years, this Thoroughfare Plan will be updated in the year 2006.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
