TITLE
AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT A SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT ON PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 490 AND 495 CRESCENT CIRCLE, PARCEL IDS 025-014183 AND 025-014182
BODY
WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna owns and operates the public sanitary sewer infrastructure that runs across the properties located at 490 and 495 Crescent Circle, identified as Franklin County Parcel IDs 025-014183 and 025-014182; and
WHEREAS, in order to formalize the City’s ability to access and maintain the existing public sanitary sewer infrastructure, a Sanitary Sewer Easement is required to be accepted and recorded on both properties; and
WHEREAS, acceptance of this easement will allow the City to perform necessary maintenance, repairs, and improvements to the public sanitary sewer system within the easement area; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Engineering has recommended that City Council accept the Sanitary Sewer Easement for 490 and 495 Crescent Circle, parcel IDs 025-014183 and 025-014182; and
WHEREAS, upon acceptance, the easement will be recorded with the Franklin County Recorder’s Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby accepts the Sanitary Sewer Easement for the properties located at 490 and 495 Crescent Circle, identified as Franklin County Parcel IDs 025-014183 and 025-014182, as described and depicted in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and incorporated herein.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and thirty (30) days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
