TITLE
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A THEN AND NOW PURCHASE ORDER UNDER OHIO REVISED CODE 5705.41(D)(1) FOR THE PURPOSE OF UTILITY SERVICES PROVIDED BY AEP
BODY
WHEREAS, funds were not encumbered prior to the use of utility services from AEP in the amount of $29,190.98 from various utility accounts; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified pursuant to purchase order 23000534 that funds were available then at the time of purchase and now at the time of payment, appropriated, collected, or in the process of collection and free from any previous encumbrance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of twenty-nine thousand one hundred ninety dollars and ninety-eight cents ($29,190.98) has been appropriated and approved pursuant to purchase order 23000534 as certified by the Director of Finance.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance is authorized to make payment in the amount of twenty-nine thousand one hundred ninety dollars and ninety-eight cents ($29,190.98) to AEP for utility services.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
