TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH CHRIS JACOBS, TO REPAIR TILE FLOOR IN POLICE STATION LOBBY.

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has informed Council that the tile floor in the lobby of the Police Station is in serious need of repair; and
WHEREAS, informal quotes were requested for completion of this work and the lower proposal has been selected; and
WHEREAS, funding in the amount of $5,275 is available in 2002 funds for this work to be completed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with CHRIS JACOBS, 7969 Flint Road, Worthington, OH 43235, for repair of tile floor in the Police Station lobby.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of $5,275 was appropriated in the 2002 Appropriations to Account No. 101.211.5512, Capital Projects, Police, and can be used to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council 30 days after date of signaure approval by the Mayor.
