WHEREAS, Ordinance 21-86 adopted the 1977-78 Master Plan Update, including the 1985 Land Use Plan insert as a guideline for development in the City of Gahanna; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 270-93 adopted the Land Use Plan, March, 1993, by Burns, Bertsch & Rainey; and
WHEREAS, Burns, Bertsch & Rainey were contracted to update the Land Use Plan in 2002; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commission held Pubic Hearing on this revised Land Use Plan and on September 25, 2002, recommended to Council the adoption of the Land Use Plan, 2002 Update by Burns, Bertsch & Rainey; and
WHEREAS, Council held Public Hearing on November 18, 2002, as a result of said recommendation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby adopts the Land Use Plan, 2002 Update by Burns, Bertsch & Rainey, attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A and made a part herein, to be a part of the 1977-78 Master Plan Update, as a guide for development in the City of Gahanna.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
