TITLE
A RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (ODOT) BRIDGE INSPECTION SERVICES
BODY
WHEREAS, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will be performing bridge inspections in municipalities to meet requirements for safe bridges nationally; and
WHEREAS, this service will provide inspection for all 20 of the City’s bridges that require annual inspection by the State of Ohio for one more year through 2023 and at no cost to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Council hereby consents to ODOT’s Municipal Bridge Inspection Program as stated in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
