SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Sewer Capital Improvement, Capacity Charges
Body
WHEREAS, Council passed ORD-0181-2012 in September of 2012 waiving the requirement of Gahanna City Code Section 921.04, Sewer System Capacity Rates, to allow a one time 50% reduction of capacity fees for Niagara Bottling LLC; and
WHEREAS, Niagara Bottling has finalized their design and paid their water/sanitary fees in the amount of $173,617.50, and Gahanna will owe the City of Columbus $123,800 for these connections;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of ONE HUNDRED TWENTY THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS ($123,800) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the Sanitary Sewer Fund to Account No. 662.361.5474, Sewer Capital Improvement, Capacity Charges, to cover the herein cost.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2013, passed January 2, 2013, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
