TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO TEST RENTAL AND USE AGREEMENT WITH CPS HR CONSULTING FOR UTILIZATION OF EMPLOYMENT TESTS TO ESTABLISH ELIGIBILITY LISTS FOR CIVIL SERVICE POSITIONS; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the Director of Human Resources wishes to enter into an Agreement with CPS HR Consulting for utilization of employment tests for creating various Civil Service eligibility lists for classified positions in the City; and
WHEREAS, it is imperative to move forward with this agreement due to the need to fill vacant positions in the classified service of the City Gahanna, and all for preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into TEST RENTAL AND USE AGREEMENT with CPS HR CONSULTING, 241 Lathrop Way, Sacramento, CA 95815; said agreement attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
