TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A NEW OPTICAL FIBER USE AGREEMENT WITH THE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT CORPORATION OF GAHANNA (CIC); TO REPEAL ORD-0090-2009

WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna has an existing optical Fiber System throughout Gahanna; and
WHEREAS, CIC was granted use of fiber through the Gahanna/New Albany combined fiber network by ORD-0090-2009; and
WHEREAS, the City is willing to enter into a revised agreement with CIC providing more fibers to CIC among other things;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into OPTICAL FIBER USE AGREEMENT, with the COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT CORPORATION OF GAHANNA; said Agreement attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That ORD-0090-2009 is hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
