TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT WITH MICHAEL & ALISON CELENTANO, 710 HAVENS CORNERS ROAD, FOR RIGHT OF WAY ACQUISITION NEEDED FOR THE CARPENTER ROAD CULVERT REPLACEMENT; IMPROVEMENT NO. ST 993.

WHEREAS, right of way is needed to replace an aging bridge with a new culvert on Carpenter Road between Hamilton Road and Shull Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the replacement of the bridge will ensure the connection between Hamilton Road and Olde Gahanna area remains in place and is safe for the traveling public;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Settlement Agreement with Michael & Alison Celentano, 710 Havens Corners Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, for right of way acquisition for the Carpenter Road Culvert Replacement; Improvement No. ST 993; Legal Description, Survey Map and Contract of Sale and Purchase attached as EXHIBIT A and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIVE DOLLARS ($2,205) was set aside in the 2014 Appropriations to Account No. 325.122.5596, Capital Improvement Fund, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
