TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH RE:SOURCE OHIO FOR PURCHASE OF CARPET REPLACEMENT OFF THE STATE BID LIST FOR THE POLICE STATION

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service had an evaluation completed of the flooring needs of the Police Station and priced from the state contract; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds were appropriated in the 2003 appropriations to cover this carpet replacement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Purchase Agreement with Re:Source Ohio, 2571 Silver Drive, Columbus, OH 43211, for purchase of carpet replacement for the Police Station, in accordance with City specifications.
Section 2. That this purchase is being made under State contract #58-2261691.
Section 3. That funding in the amount of TWENTY FOUR THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY FIVE DOLLARS ($24,995) was set aside in the 2003 Appropriations to Account No. 101.211.5512, Police Capital, to cover the herein cost.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
