TO AMEND CHAPTER 945 WEEDS AND GRASS, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA

WHEREAS, Council members have had an ongoing concern with enforcement of neglected properties and asked for a review of the Codified Ordinances by the Administration; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Administrator presented to Council changes regarding weeds and grass requirements Council has reviewed these changes and is ready to move forward with this code change;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Chapter 945, Weeds and Grass, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That existing Chapter 945, Weeds and Grass, or any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, is hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
