TO AUTHORIZE THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO AWARD AND THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH CONTRACT SWEEPERS & EQUIPMENT FOR STREET CLEANING SERVICES.

WHEREAS, bids were opened July 13, 2001, and the lowest, most responsive, and responsible, bidder has been recommended by the Director of Public Service; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Director of Public Service is hereby authorized to award and the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Contract with CONTRACT SWEEPERS & EQUIPMENT, 561 SHORT STREET, COLUMBUS, OHIO 43215, for street cleaning services for the City of Gahanna, in accordance with bid and City specifications, said bid tabulations attached here to as Exhibit A.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FORTY FIVE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED THIRTY FOUR DOLLARS (45,434.00) will be set aside to Account No. 220.330.5441, Capital Improvements, Streets and Account No. 222.331.5441, State Highways, Sweeping Contract in the 2002 appropriations, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That, this ordinance shall be in full force and effect 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
