TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH FRANKLIN CT CONSULTANTS, INC., TO REVISE PLANS TO SECURE RIGHT OF WAY, TAYLOR ROAD AT EASTGATE, IMPROVEMENT NO. 778; AND TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $6,870.

WHEREAS, to secure a portion of right of way on Taylor Road at Eastgate the City Engineer negotiated with a property owner to do certain improvements to their property, and the Taylor Road at Eastgate plans need to be modified; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended that we proceed with the necessary plan revisions to obtain the right of way;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Contract with Franklin CT Consultants, 2700 E. Dublin Granville Road, Suite 800, Columbus, Ohio 43231, to revise plans for Taylor Road at Eastgate to include improvements; Improvement No. 778, in accordance with City specifications.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of SIX THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLARS ($6,870) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated Balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.145.5533, Capital Projects, Engineering, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2002, passed January 2, 2002, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
