TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH CENTURY EQUIPMENT FOR PURCHASE OF A TORO GREENSMASTER FOR THE GOLF COURSE.

WHEREAS, the Golf Course is in need of a Greensmaster with attachments to keep operations running smoothly; and
WHEREAS, the City is able to purchase the Greensmaster off of the State bid list, Contract MAC29E OT902501;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into purchase agreement with Century Equipment, 4199 Leap Road, Hilliard, Ohio 43026 for purchase of a Toro Greensmaster with attachments, in accordance with City specifications.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of SIXTEEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SIXTY THREE DOLLARS ($16,663) was set aside in the 2002 Appropriations in Account No. 101.433.5512, Capital Projects/Equipment Golf Course, to cover the herein cost.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
