TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH DELTA DENTAL PLAN OF OHIO, INC., TO PROVIDE DENTAL BENEFITS FOR EMPLOYEES FOR THE 2015 PLAN YEAR.

WHEREAS, the City provides dental benefits for full time employees and a new contract is needed with Delta Dental for that care; and
WHEREAS, the contract is effective January 1, 2015;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with DELTA DENTAL PLAN OF OHIO, INC., 5600 Blazer Parkway, Suite 150, Dublin, Ohio 43017, for dental benefits for full time City of Gahanna employees for the 2015 plan year; Contract attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That sufficient funding will be set aside in the 2015 Appropriations to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
