TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH DIGITAL ASSURANCE CERTIFICATION, LLC (DAC) TO FULFILL THE CITY'S SEC REQUIREMENT WITH REGARD TO THE 2005 BOND ISSUANCE.

WHEREAS, the City's most recent bond issuance is subject to the continuing disclosure requirments of the SEC Rule 15c2-12; and
WHEREAS, DAC will handle all of these disclosure requirements ensuring that all legal requirements are met;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with DIGITAL ASSURANCE CERTIFICATION, LLC, 390 N. Orange Avenue, Orlando, Florida, 32801 to fulfill the City's SEC requirement with regard to 2005 bond issuance, said contract is attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1,500) was appropriated in the 2006 Appropriations to Account No. 101.130.5401, Finance, Office Expense, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council, and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
