TITLE
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS - Sewer Capital Fund, Street Fund, Parks & Recreation Fund, and TIF Fund
BODY
WHEREAS, the Council authorized a transfer of funds through RES-0034-2023 from the Sewer Fund to the Sewer Capital Fund in the amount of $39,000 for the Olde Gahanna Sanitary Sewer project and the City now desires to move forward with use of the funds; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Finance has identified needs for adjustments to salaries and benefits line items for the Street Fund in the amount of $65,000 and Parks & Recreation Fund in the amount of $77,600 resulting from staffing changes, actual hire dates, and changes in insurance selections; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Finance has also completed an analysis of the Tax Incremental Financing (TIF) obligations, noting the TIF producing more in PILOT payments than originally budgeted, resulting in more revenue sharing, and the City now desires to appropriate additional funds in the amount of $45,454 for the TIF Fund; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of thirty-nine thousand dollars ($39,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the Sewer Capital Fund 6620 as follows:
662.11.000.5505 - Sewer Capital Fund Capital Improvements: $39,000
Section 2. That funding in the amount of sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the Street Fund 2200 as follows:
220.11.000.5105 - Street Full Time Wages: $65,000
Section 3. That funding in the amount of seventy-seven thousand six hundred dollars ($77,600) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the Parks & Recreation Fund 2420 as follows:

Section 4. That funding in the amount forty-five thousand four hundred fifty-four dollars ($45,454) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the TIF Fund 2240 as follows:

Section 5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
