TO AMEND ORD-0158-2000 TO ALLOW FOR THE CORRECTION OF THE DEDICATED STREETS CONTAINED IN THE ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE FINAL PLAT FOR THE GREENS AT CLARENTON, SECTION 1, PART 2; TO WAIVE SECOND READING; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, ORD-0158-2000 accepted the final plat for property known as The Greens at Clarenton, Section 1, Part 2; and
WHEREAS, the streets listed in the ordinance as being dedicated to public use are actually in The Greens at Clarenton, Section 1, Part 1; and
WHEREAS, the streets listed on the plat for The Greens at Clarenton, Section 1, Part 2 need to be approved and accepted; and
WHEREAS, this was a clerical error and no fault of the developer who is ready to move forward with the recording of this plat and due to the impending winter season fast approaching it is prudent to allow the developer to move forward as soon as possible, all in consideration of the public peace, health, safety and welfare:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That adoption of the Final Plat for The Greens at Clarenton, Section 1, Part 2, as passed by ORD-0158-2000 is hereby reaffirmed with the following amendment:
That the streets listed in ORD-0158-2000 as Liston Park Drive, Paytes End, Clarksford Drive and Paden Drive, be corrected to Fareharm Drive, Totten Drive, Fawley Court and Paden Drive.
Section 2. That the above streets not heretofore dedicated to public use, be and the same are hereby accepted and confirmed, subject to all requirements as set out in Chapter 1107, 1109, 1193 and 1195 of the Codified Ordinances of Gahanna, Ohio.
Section 3. That the final plat as approved by ORD-0158-2000 and reaffirmed by this legislation is hereby attached as EXHIBIT A.
Section 4. That second reading of this ordinance is hereby waived.
Section 5. That, for the reasons stated in the preamble hereinabove, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation, and shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and upon date of signature approval by the Mayor.
