TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH EVANS, MECHWART, HAMBLETON & TILTON, INC., FOR PHASE I, STORM SYSTEM INFRASTRUCTURE DATA DEVELOPMENT MODEL INFORMATION; AND TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $32,300.

WHEREAS, the EPA storm water permit requires that the storm water system be mapped, inventoried and modeled; and
WHEREAS, EMH&T has been working on our permit for the last six months and will need the mapping portion by fall to complete the spring deadline for the permit; and
WHEREAS, the work will provide a system model which will predict flood potential, assess the impact of new development on the system, and update mapping and inventory required for GASB-34;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with EVANS, MECHWART, HAMBLETON & TILTON, INC., 170 Mill Street, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, for storm sewer infrastructure data development model information, in accordance with the City specifications.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of SIXTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($65,000) was set aside in the 2002 Appropriations to Account No. 230.350.5447, Storm Sewer Miscellaneous.
Section 3. That funding in the amount of THIRTY TWO THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($32,300) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund, to Account No. 101.991.5934, Transfer to Storm Water.
Section 4. That the sum of THIRTY TWO THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($32,300) is hereby transferred from Account No. 101.991.5934, Transfer to Storm Water to Account No. 230.000.4931, Revenue Storm Water.
Section 5. That the sum of THIRTY TWO THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($32,300) is hereby transferred from Storm Water, to Account No. 230.350.5447, Storm Sewer Miscellaneous, to cover the herein costs.
Section 6. That ORD-0001-2002, passed January 2, 2002, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 7. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
