TITLE
A RESOLUTION HONORING AND COMMENDING RAYMOND J. MULARSKI FOR OVER 35 YEARS OF SERVICE AS PROSECUTOR AND FOUR YEARS OF SERVICE AS CITY ATTORNEY FOR THE CITY OF GAHANNA
BODY
WHEREAS, the City first contracted with Raymond J. Mularski, Esq., in 1987 to provide prosecutorial services of certain cases resulting from Gahanna Mayor’s Court; and
WHEREAS, Raymond J. Mularski has diligently served as the City of Gahanna’s prosecutor for over 35 years, working effectively to resolve issues while protecting the interests of all residents; and
WHEREAS, Raymond J. Mularski was elected as Gahanna’s third elected City Attorney in 2019 and served a four-year term as the City’s chief legal officer, during which time he provided invaluable counsel and guidance to city officials, staff, and board and commission members; and
WHEREAS, in his nearly four decades of service to the community, Raymond J. Mularski has been dedicated to creating a safe and prosperous Gahanna for all of its citizens; and
WHEREAS, in his role as City Attorney, Raymond J. Mularski successfully defended claims and prevented lawsuits, and scrutinized city contracts in a way that ensured legal protection and the continued financial prudence of the city; and
WHEREAS, Raymond J. Mularski has demonstrated a commitment to service to the community as a lifetime member of the Kiwanis, and as a volunteer for the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival, Ronald McDonald House, and The Tour of the Scioto River Valley; and
WHEREAS, the City Council and Mayor honor and commend Raymond J. Mularski for his decades of dedicated service to the Gahanna community as a prosecutor and City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, AND PROCLAIMED BY THE MAYOR, OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the City of Gahanna does hereby honor and commend Mr. Raymond J. Mularski for his contributions to the City of Gahanna and its citizens as prosecutor and City Attorney.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
