TO AMEND ORD-0046-2001, CLASSIFIED SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL; TO CREATE A C-22 RANGE; TO RECLASSIFY THE POSITION OF SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS & UTILITIES; AND TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $18,844.

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Director of Public Service have requested a reclassification of Russ Sims to a C-22 Range and changing his title from Superintendent of Streets & Sanitation to Superintendent of Streets & Utilities; and
WHEREAS, at the June 3, 2001 meeting, the Gahanna Civil Service Commission voted to create a C-22 Range in the Classified Supervisory Personnel Agreement, and to reclassify the Superintendent of Streets & Utilities to said C-22 range; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has recommended that Russ Sims be placed in the C-22 B step;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That ORD-0046-2001 is hereby amended to establish a C-22 Range.
Section 2. That ORD-0046-2001 is amended to authorize the reclassification of Russ Sims, to the C-22 Range, B Step, as approved by the Civil Service Commission on June 3, 2001.
Section 3. That funding in the amount of EIGHTEEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FORTY FOUR DOLLARS ($18,844) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the following Accounts:

Section 4. That ORD-0001-2001 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
