CALL TO ORDER: Roll Call
Gahanna City Council met in Special Session on Monday, August 11, 2025,
in Council Chambers. President of Council Merisa K. Bowers called the
meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. The agenda was published on August 8, 2025.

EXECUTIVE SESSION:
A motion was made by Renner, seconded by Weaver, to go into Executive
Session under authority of Section 5.40(b) of the Council Rules of Procedure
to consider the purchase of property for public purposes, if premature
disclosure of information would give an unfair competitive or bargaining
advantage to a person whose personal, private interest is adverse to the
general public interest.
President Bowers announced that Council would meet in Executive Session
in the Law Library. Attendees included Councilmembers, Mayor Jadwin, City
Attorney Tamilarasan, Director of Parks & Recreation Stephania Ferrell, and
Senior Director of Operations Kevin Schultz.
Council rose to report to Executive Session at 7:02 p.m.
Council rose to report from Executive Session at 7:27 p.m. with no further
action.
The motion carried by the following vote:
