TITLE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING GAHANNA CODIFIED ORDINANCE SECTION 133.099 FOR MUNICIPAL MAYOR’S COURT SPECIAL PROJECTS FUND
BODY
WHEREAS, Gahanna Code Section 133.099 establishing the Mayor’s Court Special Projects Fund adopted in 2005 no longer mirrors Ohio Revised Code Section 1901.26(B)(1)(a); and
WHEREAS, the current language restricts the fee that can be charged as well as the expenditures for which it can be used; and
WHEREAS, the Administration requests an update to the City’s existing code language to align with the requirements and guidelines set forth in the Ohio Revised Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Code Section 133.099 for Mayor’s Court Special Projects Fund is hereby amended and adopted as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after the date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
