TITLE
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND GAHANNA CODE CHAPTER 909 REGARDING DRIVEWAY DRAINAGE
BODY
WHEREAS, Gahanna Code Section 909.01 provides for the City’s requirements for construction of driveway drainage and currently refers to the “Chief Building Official” as responsible for supervision of these requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the administration proposes to strike Chief Building Official as the responsible party for supervision as described in Section 909.01 and insert “responsible Director or their designee”; and,
WHEREAS, Gahanna Code Section 909.04 sets forth the inspection fee requirements for driveway construction; and,
WHEREAS, the administration proposes to strike reference to Section 145.10 in Section 909.04 Fees, as Section 145.10 no longer exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Code Chapter 909 for Driveway Drainage is hereby amended and adopted in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after the date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
