AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION AND WAIVER OF SECOND READING - Municipal Landscape Contract Services

WHEREAS, the Council has authorized the Director of the Department of Public Service and Engineering to award and the Mayor to enter into contract with Brightview Landscapes per the terms outlined in ORD-0021-2022; and
WHEREAS, current appropriations for FY 2022 were based on the costs of the previous municipal landscape contractor; and
WHEREAS, supplemental appropriations of $75,000 are needed for the General Fund in FY 2022 in order to fulfill the terms outlined in ORD-0021-2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That a supplemental appropriation in the amount of $75,000 from the unappropriated/unencumbered balance of the General Fund 1010 be appropriated to account number 101.11.410.5205.
Section 2. That the second reading is hereby waived.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
