ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF GAHANNA OHIO: Amending Chapter 1303.02 Amendments to Code of Part Thirteen Building Code

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Service & Engineering has recommended amendments to Chapter 1303.02 Amendments to Code of Part Thirteen - Building Code, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna; and
WHEREAS, the amendments are to accommodate the current edition of the Residential Code of Ohio; and
WHEREAS, the revisions also address updates to the local Climatic and Geographic Design Criteria table; and
WHEREAS, this table has been amended for the current code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Chapter 1303.02 Amendments to Code of Part Thirteen Building Code, is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That existing Chapter 1303.02 of Part Thirteen, Building Code, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, or any Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed and replaced.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
