SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION- USW Health Plan Expenses.

WHEREAS, the United Steelworkers joined the City’s health plan effective January 1, 2019, which activated a clause in their contract allowing for a reimbursement of certain prescription expenses; and
WHEREAS, an additional $12,000 is requested to cover the prescription reimbursement costs; and
WHEREAS, to move the funds to the appropriate account requires a supplemental appropriation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($12,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated/unencumbered balance of the General Fund.
Section 2. That ORD-0010, passed January 29, 2019, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
