TITLE

TO AUTHORIZE AN AGREEMENT WITH TREVI ENTERPRISES, LLC FOR TAX ABATEMENT FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 870 CLAYCRAFT ROAD, PARCEL ID NO. 025-013638 AND 025-013639; PART OF COUMMUNITY REINVESTMENT AREA #3.

BODY

WHEREAS, Trevi Enterprises, LLC wants to spend $17,120,000 to construct a 262,500 square foot industrial building at 870 Claycraft Road that would allow for the creation of 40 jobs; and

WHEREAS, in order to make this project financially feasible, the Planning and Development Department is recommending that Gahanna City Council provide a real estate property tax abatement for the construction of the new building.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO;

Section 1.  That the Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) #3 Tax Abatement Agreement with Trevi Enterprises, LLC, 870 Claycraft Road, Gahanna Ohio 43230, is hereby authorized as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.

Section 2.  That pursuant to MR-0052-2000, the Director of Planning and Development is authorized as Housing Office to sign this agreement.

Section 3.  That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by Council and 30 days after the signature of approval by the Mayor.
