TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH ROZZI INC. DBA ROZZIS’ FAMOUS FIREWORKS, TO FURNISH AND LAUNCH THE JULY, 2017 FIREWORKS DISPLAY.
BODY
WHEREAS, the City would like to provide a fireworks display for the community; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks & Recreation is requesting to enter into contract with Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks to provide the July, 2017 fireworks display.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with Rozzi Inc. DBA Rozzis’ Famous Fireworks, PO BOX 5, Loveland, Ohio, 45140, to furnish and launch the fireworks display for July, 2017; said Contract attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000) was set aside in 2017 appropriations to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
