TITLE

 

TO AMEND PART ELEVEN, PLANNING AND ZONING CODE, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA.

 

BODY

 

WHEREAS, the shift of the Building and Zoning divisions from the Department of Planning and Development to the Department of Public Service and Engineering necessitated modifications to Gahanna Code Part Eleven, Planning and Zoning; and

 

WHEREAS, a review panel was formed that included council office and the Service and Development departments and the plan performed a high-level review of this entire section of code and made changes regarding the shift of divisions, corrected typographical errors and reflected process changes that have taken place; and

 

WHEREAS, Planning Commission held a public hearing on January 25, 2017, and recommended the revisions be forwarded to Council for approval.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1.  That Part Eleven, Planning and Zoning Code, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.

 

Section 2.  That the existing Part Eleven, Planning and Zoning Code, or any Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.

 

Section 3.  That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
